Love Parade made its US debut today and nothing was lost in translation. All the big names in Bay Area dance music were on hand to show the crowds a good time. The cops behaved themselves. The music ranged from bumpin’ to downright weird but there was a scene for everyone and as long you got right in front of the DJ you wanted to hear, the blend of beats wasn’t too bad. Of course, if you indulged in the medicinal pot brownies, it might have caused sensory overload. It was a blast and I hope SF hosts the Love Parade again next year. Who knows, maybe SFGlow will have a float.

dZihan & Kamien rocked at Mighty last night. If you missed it you should immediately run out a buy an album. The place was a packed with good people who came to dance. Summer is over and everyone is ready to back into the swing of things. More great events to come….

These things sometimes take longer than expected. You get one thing squared away, something else pops up. So we are accepting submissions by promoters, DJs, clubs and lounges but I hate to make promises until we’re firing on all cylinders. We’ll try to get some photos up there to keep you busy in the meantime. Keep those cards and letters coming!
